Laura Vasconcellos

Laura Vasconcellos, nasceu em Lisboa em 1954. Licenciada em Línguas e Literatura Modernas e mestre em Literatura Medieval Portuguesa, está neste momento a finalizar a tese de doutoramento em Literatura Medieval Francesa. É professora universitária, escritora e Presidente/Fundadora da ADDHU (Associação da Defesa dos Direitos Humanos para a Ásia e resto do mundo).
Apaixonada por fotografia, artes marciais e viagens conhece as Américas, o Extremo Oriente, África e toda a Europa Ocidental.
Este é o seu sétimo livro, tendo já publicado na área do romance e da literatura céltica e medieval: O Gesto, Histórias da Mitologia Celta, uma versão de As cartas de Abelardo e Heloísa, e de Tristão e Isolda, Contos da Mitologia Celta- A viagem, e Do outro lado do Mundo- cartas da Birmânia.
