Alexander Ahndoril and Alexandra Coelho Ahndoril became known as Lars Kepler and, under that pseudonym, they signed books with great international success. The Hypnotist was the first title in the series starring commissioner Joona Linna, followed by The Executioner, The Seer, The Sandman, Stalker, The Hunter, Lazarus, The Mirror Man, The Spider and The Sleepwalker.
In 2023, under the pseudonym Alex Ahndoril, this pair of authors started a new crime series, whose protagonist is the charismatic private investigator Julia Stark. I'll Find the Key – published in 2024 by Singular – is the first book of this new project, which was followed by Close My Eyes and Rezo.
