Kohei Saito

Kohei Saito é professor associado de economia política na Universidade da Cidade de Osaka e na Universidade de Tóquio. Doutorado pela Universidade Humboldt de Berlim, é a pessoa mais jovem a ser premiada com o prestigiado Prémio Deutscher, atribuído pela sua investigação na tradição marxista. Autor de vários artigos sobre a ecologia de Marx, Saito obteve um grande sucesso e reconhecimento com O Capital no Antropoceno, um bestseller que gerou um forte impacto no Japão, impulsionando uma nova onda de interesse pela economia climática e pelas soluções para a crise ambiental.
