Kim McGrath é uma escritora e investigadora australiana.
Trabalhou em consultoria estratégica e como investigadora, colaborou na elaboração de políticas de desenvolvimento e em serviços de redação e editoriais para governos, empresas privadas, universidades e organizações sem fins lucrativos.
Kim McGrath tem artigos publicados na The Monthly, uma prestigiada revista australiana sobre política, sociedade e artes, e pelo Lowy Institute, um think tank independente.
Após a publicação de Crossing the Line, Australia’s Secret History in the Timor Sea, pela Black Inc., em agosto de 2017, a autora marcou presença nos festivais literários Ballarat Writers’ e Geelong Word for Word Non-Fiction Writers’.
Atualmente, está a finalizar a sua tese de doutoramento na Monash University, baseada numa investigação exaustiva dos Arquivos Nacionais Australianos sobre os interesses nacionais da Austrália no Mar de Timor. É ainda graduada pelo Australian Institute of Company Directors e licenciada em Direito e Artes.
