Um dos empresários norteamericanos mais bem-sucedidos, é uma das estrelas do Lago dos Tubarões, transmitido na SIC Radical. Kevin fundou e construiu a SoftKey (mais tarde designada e Learning Company), líder global em software educativo para crianças, e negociou a respetiva venda à Mattel por mais de 4 mil milhões de dólares. Desde então, cofundou, fundou e vendeu com êxito diversas empresas numa vasta gama de indústrias. É ainda fundador da O’Leary Fine Wines, guitarrista entusiástico e fotógrafo.
