Kenneth Hanson é professor assistente do Departamento de Estudos Judaicos da Universidade da Florida Central, em Orlando, onde lecciona História Antiga e Contemporânea dos Judeus. Contador de histórias como poucos, Hanson tem dedicado parte do seu tempo a tornar acessível do grande público vários textos antigos.
Além de Segredos da Bíblia Perdida, é autor de Dead Sea Scrolls: The Untold Story e Kabbalah: The Untold Story of the Mystic Tradition.
Convidado habitual de programas de rádio e de televisão, teve, recentemente, uma participação especial num documentário sobre a Cabala, produzido por Keith Richards e Madonna.
