Kei Aono

Kei Aono nasceu em 1959 em Nagoya, no Japão, e licenciou-se na Universidade de Tóquio.
Trabalhou numa revista de banda desenhada e numa editora de literatura contemporânea. Em 2006, estreou-se como autora com The Reason Why I Won't Quit (Yamenai Riyu) e, em 2014, a série de romances sobre a livraria de Kichijoji venceu o primeiro prémio dos Shizuoka Bookstore Awards na categoria "Livro que gostaria de ver adaptado ao cinema”.
