Karen Hao

Karen Hao é uma jornalista norte-americana. Trabalha atualmente como freelancer para publicações como a The Atlantic e foi anteriormente correspondente estrangeira em Hong Kong para o The Wall Street Journal e editora sénior de inteligência artificial na MIT Technology Review. É sobretudo conhecida pela sua investigação sobre IA, ética tecnológica e o impacto social da inteligência artificial. Hao coproduziu também o podcast In Machines We Trust e escreveu a newsletter The Algorithm.
Trabalhou anteriormente no Quartz como jornalista de tecnologia e cientista de dados e foi engenheira de aplicações na primeira start-up resultante da X Development. Os seus textos foram ainda publicados na Mother Jones, Sierra Magazine, e New Republic, entre outras publicações.
