Junji Itô
Born in Japan in 1963, Junji Ito began drawing early, but only pursued it professionally in 1987. Today, he is considered one of the biggest names in horror manga. Author of Uzumaki and TomieAmong other works, he was influenced by artists such as Kazuo Umezu and Hideshi Hino, and by other authors such as Yasutaka Tsutsui and H.P. Lovecraft.
