Julien Frey
Julien Frey was born in 1977. He grew up in Paris, where he studied film.
He participated in writing around fifteen animated series for young people (Casper, Geronimo Stilton, Grenadine and Mentalo) and then moved on to more personal projects.
In 2011 he moved to Montpellier where he decided to dedicate himself to comics. After several publications of short stories in magazines (Paper, Plates) published his first comic book A day will be knocked at your door, in collaboration with Dominique Mermoux (Delcourt, 2014). With designer Lucas Varela he created Michigan (Dargaud, 2017). Then, in 2018, it appeared With Edouard Luntz (Futuropolis), an album illustrated by Nadar. The two authors continue their collaboration with L'oeil du STO (Futuropolis, 2020) and Fatty (Futuropolis, 2021). In 2021, he published Lisa and Mohamed, an album designed by Mayalen Goust (Futuropolis). Currently resides in Bordeaux.
