JUAN CARLOS MONEDERO é licenciado em Ciências Políticas e Sociologia pela Universidade Complutense de Madrid. Fez os seus estudos de doutoramento na Universidade de Heidelberg (Alemanha) e dirige o Departamento de Governo, Políticas Públicas e Sociedade Civil Global, do Instituto Complutense de Estudos Internacionais. Professor conviado de muitas universidades da América do Sul e da Europa, em 2010 foi o orador principal, nas Nações Unidas, na comemoração do Dia Internacional da Democracia. Autor de numerosos trabalhos académicos, colabora regularmente com a imprensa e em debates políticos na rádio e na televisão.
