Jozsef Debreczeni

József Debreczeni (1905-1978) foi um romancista, poeta e jornalista de língua húngara que passou grande parte da sua vida na Jugoslávia. Editor das publicações Napló e Unnep de Budapeste, foi despedido devido à legislação antijudaica. Após cumprir três anos de trabalhos forçados, foi deportado para Auschwitz no dia 1 de maio de 1944. No pós-guerra colaborou com os média de língua húngara na região jugoslava da Voivodina, bem como com os jornais mais importantes de Belgrado. Foi distinguido com o Híd Prize, a mais elevada distinção da literatura húngara na ex-Jugoslávia.
