Joyce Tyldesley

Joyce Tyldesley was born in Bolton, Lancashire. She studied archaeology at the universities of Liverpool and Oxford, before writing a series of books on Ancient Egypt, many of which were award-winning. She is currently a professor of Egyptology at the University of Manchester.
