José Varregoso nasceu em Lisboa em finais da década de 60.É licenciado em Antropologia Social pelo ISCTE e tem trabalhado no domínio museológico e na área das Ciências Sociais e da Comunicação.Aquilo que mais o realiza resulta no trabalho e no desenvolvimento das palavras escritas por si e por outros, desempenhando recorrentemente tarefas de tradutor e redactor.

A paixão pela escrita é particularmente acarinhada por si. Desenvolve vários projectos literários e imprime em quase toda a sua escrita o amor ao Cinema e à Música.
