José Soeiro

José Soeiro is a sociologist with a PhD from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Coimbra, specializing in work, precarious employment, and collective action. He was the rapporteur for the petition submitted to the Assembly of the Republic for the creation of the Informal Caregiver Statute. He is the author of the first draft of the Statute and one of those responsible for drafting the current law.
