José Ovejero

José Ovejero nasceu em Madrid em 1958 e é licenciado em Geografia e História. Depois de uma estadia na Alemanha, instalou-se de forma permanente em Bruxelas, onde trabalha desde 1988 como intérprete. A sua obra literária inclui Cuentos para salvarnos todos (Destino, 1996) e os romances Añoranza del héroe (Destino, 1997) e Huir de Palermo (Ediciones B, 1999). Ovejero também é autor de Bruselas (Destino, 1996) e da colecção de poemas Biografia del explorador, que obteve em 1993 o prémio de poesia Ciudad de Irún, assim como de China para hipocondríacos, que foi proclamado vencedor do prémio Grandes Viajeros e publicado nas Ediciones B em 1998.
