José Neves (Lisbon, 1963), architect, began his professional career collaborating with architects Duarte Cabral de Mello and Maria Manuel Godinho de Almeida and participated in several projects with architect Vítor Figueiredo. He opened his own studio in 1991 and received, among other awards, the Secil Architecture Prize in 2012. He has been a professor of architecture at several universities in Lisbon since 1988.
