É casado, dois filhos.
Licenciado em direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Clássica de Lisboa.
Inscrito na Ordem dos Advogados.
Além da actividade profissional liberal, foi Assessor Jurídico, Advogado Coordenador e Director Coordenador numa Instituição de Crédito.
Leccionou no ISNP.
Presentemente exerce advocacia.
Auditor de Defesa Nacional.
Rotário.
Sócio de várias associações que prosseguem fins sociais ou culturais, fazendo parte dos órgãos sociais de algumas delas.
