José Mário Aleixo

José Mário Aleixo nasceu no dia 20 de janeiro de 1959 no bairro da Madragoa, em Lisboa. Descendente de pais vareiros, nascidos em Ovar, terra de pescadores, ainda jovens decidiram instalar-se em Lisboa à procura de uma vida melhor. Desde pequeno, José Mário foi um bom aluno na escola e gostava de ler e de escrever. Estudou Comunicação Social no Instituto Superior de Ciências Sociais e Políticas e nos tempos livres fez desporto. Após a morte de seu pai, em 1984, começou a sua carreira de jornalista na RTP e Correio da Manhã. Durante décadas viveu um quotidiano muito preenchido com a sua paixão de sempre — o jornalismo.
