José Marinho

José Marinho (1904 - 1975) was a Portuguese philosopher, considered one of Portugal's great thinkers. He graduated in Romance Philology from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. He was imprisoned for political reasons in Aljube prison. He contributed to newspapers such as Primeiro de Janeiro. He was a classmate at the Faculty of Arts of Álvaro Ribeiro, Sant'Ana Dionísio, Delfim Santos, Agostinho da Silva, Adolfo Casais Monteiro, among others.
