José Barata

José Barata Nasceu em Pampilhosa da Serra, em 1956. Licenciado em Medicina pela Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade de Lisboa, em 1981, e especialista de Medicina Interna desde 1991. É diretor do Serviço de Medicina do Hospital de Vila Franca de Xira e professor auxiliar convidado da Faculdade de Ciências Médicas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Dedica-se à investigação na área da história e da genealogia, tendo especial interesse pela história da medicina portuguesa.
