Jorge Sousa Braga

Jorge Sousa Braga was born in 1957 in Cervães and graduated in Medicine from the University of Porto in 1981, specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology. He began his professional career at the Santo António Hospital in Porto. He has been working in the consultation of sterility/infertility cases. Author of a vast body of poetic work, he has also participated in numerous anthologies as an organizer and/or translator, and has dedicated himself to writing children's books. Herbarium He was awarded the Gulbenkian Grand Prize for Children's Literature.
