Jorge Pinheiro

Jorge Pinheiro nasceu em Coimbra, em 1931, e só depois de um curso comercial, entrou para a Escola de Belas-Artes do Porto, concluindo a sua formação académica em 1963. Nesse mesmo ano, integrou um grupo de alunos que, devido à classificação final no curso, tomou o irónico nome de "Os Quatro Vintes". Ângelo de Sousa, José Rodrigues e Armando Alves foram os seus companheiros numa série de exposições no Porto, em Lisboa e em Paris (1968-1971). Recebeu vários prémios e encontra-se representado em museus, como o Soares dos Reis, Serralves ou o Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea. Vive e trabalha em São Pedro do Estoril.
