Jorge Palinhos
Jorge Palinhos is a writer, playwright, and university professor, and his plays have been performed or published in Portugal, Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Spain, the United States of America, France, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Serbia, in venues such as the Teatro Nacional São João, the Centro Cultural de Belém, the Teatro Meridional, the Teatro Municipal Rivoli and Teatro Municipal Campo Alegre, the Teatro Beursschouwburg in Brussels, the Teatro Schaubühne in Berlin, the Graham Institute in Chicago, the SESC in São Paulo, La Comédie de Reims, CDN Orléans, the Teatro Nanterre-Amandiers in Paris, etc.
He is the author of the play. Auto da Razão, awarded the Miguel Rovisco Prize 2003 by INATEL, and the play Before Midnight, awarded the Manuel-Deniz Jacinto Prize 2007. Recently published "Parking", in the Islands Company, "A grave is a hole that's hard to fill.", at the University of Coimbra Press, and "Day Time", by Húmus. Regularly contributes to the newspaper Public and the magazine Bang.
She has taught in various performing arts and digital writing courses. As a researcher, she has dedicated herself to investigating the intersection of narrative, space, and digital tools.
