Jorge Dezcallar

Palma de Maiorca, 1945) é diplomata de carreira. Durante doze anos foi diretor-geral no Ministério dos Negócios Estrangeiros. Também foi embaixador em Marrocos, na Santa Sé e nos Estados Unidos da América. Em 2001 foi nomeado o primeiro diretor civil do Centro Nacional de Inteligência (CNI), com a categoria de secretário de Estado. Publicou Valió la pena. Una vida entre diplomáticos y espías (2015), El anticuario de Teherán (2018) e, com grande êxito da Esfera em Espanha, Espía accidental (2021), o seu primeiro romance.
