Joke J. Hermsen

Joke J. Hermsen (1961), neerlandesa, estudou arte e filosofia em Paris e Utreque. Publicou vários livros de ficção, incluindo um romance histórico sobre o «grupo de Bloomsbury» (a que pertenciam Virginia Woolf, T.S. Eliot ou E.M. Forster, nomeadamente) ou uma sátira à vida nos meios filosóficos e académicos. Os seus ensaios são fundamentalmente sobre filosofia contemporânea (Sarah Kofman, Gilles Deleuze, Simone de Beauvoir, Henri Bergson, Maurice Blanchot, Lou Andreas-Salomé ou Hannah Arendt, entre outros), o nomadismo e a crítica ao «tempo tecnocrático». Joke J. Hermsen vive e trabalha em Amesterdão.
