John Darwin

Reputado historiador britânico e professor em Oxford, de História Global e Imperial, no Nuffield College, onde dirige também o respetivo Centro de História Global. Os seus interesses académicos centram-se no papel dos impérios e nas relações que se estabelecem entre povos, bem como a circulação de bens e ideias pelas suas fronteiras. Em 2008, foi galardoado com o Prémio Wolfson de História por esta obra.
