John Cleese

John Cleese nasceu em Weston-super-Mare em 1939. Estudou no Clifton College e em Cambridge. Alcançou o seu primeiro sucesso no West End como guionista e artista com The Frost Reporter. Mais tarde, seria cofundador do icónico grupo de comédia Monty Phyton, para o qual escreveu e interpretou séries de televisão e filmes, de que se destacam Monty Phyton e o Cálice Sagrado e A vida de Brian. Nos anos setenta, em colaboração com Connie Booth, sua primeira mulher, escreveu e protagonizou o clássico de televisão Fawlty Towers. Anos depois, escreveu Um peixe chamado Wanda e Fierce Creatures, filmes em que também atuou, e participou em vários filmes de James Bond e Harry Potter, bem como em inúmeras séries de televisão.
