John Carlin

John Carlin foi diretor executivo do jornal inglês The Independent on Sunday, para o qual exerceu as funções de correspondente na África do Sul entre 1989 e 1995. Colaborou regularmente com outras publicações de renome como o The New York Times, o El País, o The Guardian, o The Times, o Financial Times, o Wall Street Journal e o Observer. É autor do livro Playing the Enemy, sobre o antigo presidente sul-africano Nelson Mandela, o qual serviu de inspiração ao filme Invictus, realizado por Clint Eastwood e protagonizado por Morgan Freeman e Matt Damon.
