John Bellairs

John Anthony Bellairs (1938-1991) was born in Michigan, USA.
She graduated from the University of Chicago and taught at various schools across the country.
He is one of the most acclaimed American authors of children's books, having distinguished himself mainly through the series of books featuring Lewis Barnavelt, an orphaned, lonely, and insecure boy.
Among the titles in this series are The Figure in the Shadows and The Mystery of the Clock House, published by Editorial Presença.
John Bellairs has won numerous awards for his stories, which are always full of mystery and adventure.
