Jochen Gutsch nasceu em Berlim, em 1971, é jornalista da Der Spiegel, uma das principais revistas alemãs, e autor de vários bestsellers. Recebeu os prémios Theodor Wol- e Henri Nannen pelo seu trabalho jornalístico.
Com Maxim Leo, escreveu vários bestsellers, incluindo It’s Just a Phase, Rabbit, que esteve, durante mais de um ano, na lista dos livros mais vendidos e foi ainda adaptado para filme.
