João Quevedo

Graduated in Medicine (1998), specialized in Psychiatry (2000) and holds a doctorate in Biological Sciences (Biochemistry, 2002) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). Currently, he is a full professor of Psychiatry and coordinator of the Neuroscience Laboratory at the University of Southern Santa Catarina.
He is also a 1A researcher at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), associate editor of the Brazilian Journal of Psychiatry, vice-president of the Brazilian Association of Bipolar Disorder, president of the Brain and Mind Institute, and vice-president of the Santa Catarina Association of Psychiatry.
