João Lázaro

João Lázaro Cavaleiro Diz de Carvalho was born in 1985. He holds a degree in History, a Master's degree in Modern and Contemporary History, and a PhD in Modern and Contemporary History from ISCTE–IUL.
He was the author of the following books: Republicanism in Póvoa de Santa Iria at dawn on October 5, 1910 (2012) and The Rise of the Brazilian Labor Movement in the Public Sphere (2014). In recent years he has published several scientific articles in Portugal, Brazil and the United Kingdom on the world of work. He is currently an associate researcher at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology-IUL and a History teacher in the 3rd cycle and in secondary education.
