João Jacinto

João Jacinto [Mafra, 1966] vive e trabalha no Monte Estoril. Em 1985 iniciou os seus estudos artísticos na ESBAL. Lecionou entre 1989 e 1992 no Ar.Co em Lisboa. É, desde 2001, professor na Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. Expõe individualmente desde 1987, tendo participado em inúmeras exposições individuais e coletivas. A sua obra encontra-se representada em várias coleções: CAM – Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, Lisboa, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, Lisboa, Coleção António Cachola – MACE – Elvas, Fundação PLMJ, Lisboa, Museu do Chiado (Depósito Isabel Vaz Lopes), Lisboa, Museo Extremeño Iberoamericano de Arte Contemporaneo, Badajoz, Veranneman Foundation, Kruishoutem, Bélgica, Art Collectors, Genebra, Fine Arts Gallery, Bruxelas, Renate Schröder Gallery, Colónia, Gallery Catherine Clerc, Lausanne, Collection Kierbaum & Partner, Colónia, Fundação Carmona e Costa, Lisboa, entre outras.
