Joana Rato é Professora Auxiliar no Instituto de Ciências da Saúde da Universidade Católica Portuguesa e investigadora integrada no Centro de Investigação Interdisciplinar em Saúde, onde dinamiza o grupo de trabalho Mente, Cérebro e Educação. É psicóloga da educação doutorada em Ciências da Saúde e escreveu, em coautoria, Quando o Cérebro do Seu Filho Vai à Escola (2017) e Neuromitos (2020). Tem aliado a investigação à divulgação da ciência transdisciplinar.
