Joana Laranjeiro nasceu em 1978. Tirou o curso de Design de Comunicação na Faculdade de Belas Artes, e trabalhou 13 anos como diretora de arte em grandes agências de publicidade em Portugal.
Em 2011, nasceu o pequeno catita, o que a levou a investigar uma parentalidade com base no mindfulness. Tirou o curso na AdPc de Parentalidade Consciente, e seguiu para a Suécia para se formar em Family-Lab Seminar Leader e Family Coaching Education. Deste caminho surgiu a Mãe Catita, um projeto de Parentalidade para o Futuro, com workshops e sessões personalizadas de apoio para pais.
