Joan Negrescolor (Barcelona) é ilustrador e tem vários livros publicados. Colabora também com a imprensa, faz ilustrações para jogos e pinturas murais em diferentes cidades. Estreou-se no catálogo Orfeu Mini com o álbum Há Classes Sociais (Prémio Junceda e Bologna Ragazzi Não-Ficção, 2016). Um ano depois lançou o álbum infantil A Cidade dos Animais, distinguido com o Prémio Junceda Melhor Livro Infantil (2018) e com o Prémio Golden Pinwheel (2017). Foi também selecionado para o prestigiado catálogo internacional White Ravens<(i> (2017).
