Ilustrador, designer e diretor de animação, Jim Field vive no interior de França com a mulher, a pequena filha, um gato resmungão e muitas guitarras. Venceu vários prémios, incluindo o Bookstrust Roald Dahl Funny Prize e o Lollies. Colabora regularmente com Rachel Bright na série O Leão Que Temos Cá Dentro e com Kes Gray na série do livro Ei, Caãezinhos! Também escreve e ilustra os seus próprios livros bilingues.
