Jim Collins

Jim Collins é um estudioso do comportamento de grandes empresas, formador de líderes empresariais, orador e autor de vários artigos e livros sobre gestão. Foi professor na Universidade de Stanford, onde obteve o prémio Distinguished Teaching Award e trabalha, actualmente, no laboratório que criou, em Boulder, Colorado, onde se dedica a pesquisar e a estudar empresas. O seu livro Built to Last, um clássico de gestão que já vendeu milhares de exemplares em todo o mundo, resulta de uma investigação, de mais de uma década, sobre a longevidade de algumas empresas.
