Jim Al-Khalili

Jim Al-Khalili, nascido em 1962 em Bagdade e naturalizado britânico, é doutorado em teoria nuclear, professor de Física na Universidade de Surrey e membro da Royal Society. Foi galardoado com a Medalha Faraday da Royal Society, a Medalha Kelvin do Institute of Physics e a Medalha Stephen Hawking. É um dos comunicadores de ciência mais populares do Reino Unido, apresentando documentários televisivos sobre ciência e o programa The Life Scientific para a Radio 4 da BBC. Publicou mais de uma centena de artigos de investigação e é autor de doze livros, entre os quais Quantum: A Guide for the Perplexed; The House of Wisdom; Life on the Edge e O Mundo segundo a Física, publicado pela Temas e Debates em 2022.
