Jesús Sánchez Adalid (1962) is from Villanueva de la Serena, Badajoz. He graduated in Law from the University of Extremadura and completed his doctoral studies at... Complutense University From Madrid. He served as a judge for two years, after which he studied Philosophy and Theology. He received important awards as a writer. Fernando Lara Award 2007, Alfonso X el Sabio Historical Novel Award 2012 (by Alcazaba) Troa Libros Award with values 2014, Novel Lawyers Award 2015 Grada Prize for Culture (2011), International Historical Novel Award Ciudad de Zaragoza (2011), Cultures Dialogue Award (2013), Hispanidad Award (2013) and in 2017 the prestigious Arcobaleno Prize which is granted in Italy by "Bottega dell'Arte"His great literary success, The Mozarab, it was declared the Official Romance of First International Congress of Mozárabe CultureFurthermore, he was distinguished with the Medal of Extremadura In 2009, it received the Community's highest award and is a full member of Royal Academy of Arts and Letters of ExtremaduraHe is also a patron of the prestigious Paradigma Foundation CórdobaAmong his works, the following stand out: The light of the East; In the company of the sun and the trilogy The Knight of Alcântara, The sublime door and The captive.
