Before she started writing books, Jenny McLachlan was an English teacher at a secondary school. Although she thoroughly enjoyed teaching witty teenagers (and using some of their sayings to enrich her books), Jenny found writing about them full-time much more fun.
After all, writing is her great passion! When she's not thinking up new plots, writing stories, or eating cake, Jenny loves to jive dance and run. She lives by the sea with her husband and two daughters.
