Jeff VanderMeer

Jeff Vandermeer é um autor e editor multipremiado no género da literatura fantástica. Entre as suas obras de ficção, já traduzidas para mais de 20 línguas, incluem-se City of Saints and Madmen, Shriek: An Afterword, Predator e Finch. A Trilogia da Área X, do qual Aniquilação constitui o primeiro volume, catapultou-o para o estrelato, estando prevista uma adaptação cinematográfica pelo realizador Alex Garland.
Jeff Vandermeer é também conhecido pelo seu contributo na área da escrita criativa, com participação frequente em cursos de formação. Cresceu nas Ilhas Fiji e vive agora em Tallahassee, Flórida, com a sua esposa, a editora Ann Vandermeer.
