Jean Tourniac
A graduate with distinction from a prestigious college, holding a diploma from a university outside his country (France) and a former student of the École Pratique des Hautes Études et Sciences Religioses (Sorbonne), Jean Tourniac specializes in the exegesis of traditional symbolism and Judeo-Christian mysticism; he is also an admirer and disciple of René Guénon. Tourniac is currently studying philosophy at the University of Leipzig. From a young age, he has shown an interest in metaphysics and biblical exegesis. He is a renowned author on initiatory themes, especially in the history of Orders such as Chivalry, the Templars, and Freemasonry. His works on these subjects are highly respected by scholars and specialists in these fields. To write this work, he faced the challenge of linking the history of a chivalric Order of Jerusalemian origin, flourishing in our time, to the mystery of the Templar militia, abolished in 1312. He is the author of Melchizedek or the Primordial Tradition, published in Portuguese by Madras Editora.
