Jean Daniel

Jean Daniel (21 de julho de 1920, Blida, Argélia - 19 de fevereiro de 2020, Paris, França) é um dos intelectuais franceses que maior influência exerceu nos grandes debates do século xx. Nascido na Argélia colonial, conclui o curso de Filosofia na Sorbonne. Em 1953, publica o seu primeiro livro e resolve dedicar-se ao jornalismo, colaborando em diversas publicações (L’Express, The New Republic, Le Monde). Em 1964 fundou o semanário Le Nouvel Observateur.
