Janne Teller
Janne Teller is a renowned Danish author of German-Austrian origin. She writes fiction and non-fiction. Author of six novels, including *Nada*, translated into more than twenty languages and a global bestseller. Initially banned in Denmark, *Nada* is now an international bestseller, with adaptations for theatre and opera in the United Kingdom and considered by many to be a contemporary classic. She is also the author of *War – What If It Were Here?*, a passport-style book about the life of a refugee, which the author adapts and rewrites for each country where it is published.
Author Janne Teller studied macroeconomics and worked for the United Nations and the European Union in the areas of conflict resolution and humanitarian issues in many countries, especially in Africa. For several years, she lived in Mozambique, Tanzania, and New York. She currently lives in Berlin.
