Ja Gradvall is an award-winning writer and Sweden's most respected music journalist of the last 40 years. He is the author of several books on popular culture, but says he feels that "everything I've written about music to date has led to this book." Gradvall received the Grand Prize from the Swedish Journalists' Association in 2013 and won the Journalist of the Year award from Swedish's Magazines in 2001. He was one of the promoters of the founding of... Swedish Music Hall of FameJan Gradvall, having served as president for the first three years, always maintained an exceptionally close journalistic relationship with ABBA and was a guest on two BBC documentaries. The Joy of ABBA and Flatpack Pop, where he talks about the phenomenon of Swedish compositions.
