James Lovelock is the author of more than 200 scientific articles and of Gaia Hypothesis (now Gaia Theory), about which he has written several books. He is a member of Royal Society since 1974. From 1961, he worked as an independent scientist, but maintained links with universities in the UK and the US and has been an honorary invited member of the [organization/institution] since 1994.
