Jacquelin Perry

Especializada em educação física (1935-1940), a autora introduz-se na fisioterapia em 1941, expandindo seus conhecimentos de anatomia, cinesiologia e deficiência física. Nessa mesma década adquire ampla experiência clínica e em hospitais do exército norte-americano. Posteriormente (1951-1955) especializa-se em cirurgia ortopédica, empregando a análise observacional e reunindo grande conhecimento na correção de incapacidades da marcha. Em 1955 une-se ao Centro Médico Rancho Los Amigos, onde atua no tratamento e análise de pacientes hemiplégicos, com poliomiete e amputados e também desenvolve, em 1968, o laboratório de marcha. Atualmente Jacquelin Perry é chefe do dept. de Patocinesiologia do Centro Médico Rancho Los Amigos.
