Jacob F. Field
Jacob F. Field was born in London in 1983. He is a historian and author of several books, including The History of Europe for People in a Hurry (Editorial Presença, 2019). Graduated in Modern History from the University of Oxford, he completed his studies at the University of Newcastle, where he developed his thesis on the socio-economic impact of the Great Fire of London in 1666. He taught at the universities of Massey and Waikato, in New Zealand, and is now pursuing his career at the University of Cambridge, where he is dedicated to the study of the economic history of England and, in particular, of his hometown, London.
